There is the seafood industry boats,the Lafitte Skiff used for shrimping and crabbing,the Louisiana Lugger used for shrimping and oil field work, and the pirogue used mainly for duck hunting and fishing and the service boats used in the shipping industry.

Each of these boats have a special function in it's line of work,but is not it's only function by no means,each in it's own way is very useful and can be used in a variety of ways.

I hope to show you this variety on these pages.I will be adding more boats to this page as the website progresses,because there are many kinds of boats that work in the South Louisiana Bayous.
