Hunting in Bayou Country

Hunting in South Louisiana provides a variety of wildlife,there's ducks,deer wild hogs,and geese to name a few.Duck hunting is one of the best in the country,with so many lakes,bays,marshland and ponds.Even in the cities you see ducks flying overhead and most duck sites are easy to get to,just go to one of the many marinas or free launches and launch your boat or you can book a charter. duck

There are Wildlife refuges and lots of open marshland to hunt.On the East Bank of the Mississippi River there's ducks,deer and and wild hogs to hunt,there is even a time to hunt alligator,you can even hunt in the morning and fish in the evening.

Deer are plentiful also,the Mississippi Delta country has lots of deer and is also the home of the Louisiana Wildlife Refuge where there are deer when it is open for deer season,so if hunting is what you like to do South Louisiana is the place for it.
